Grandmaster Flash

Grandmaster Flash is a renowned, highly influential, award-winning American hip-hop DJ originally from the pioneering group Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five.

Born in Barbados, Grandmaster Flash - aka Joseph Saddler - grew up in The Bronx. With the Furious Five, Flash released the highly influential album The Message in 1982.

Grandmaster Flash has been inducted into the Hip Hop and Rock 'n Roll hall of fame.
