China Crisis

English pop band formed in 1979 in Kirkby, Merseyside by two musicians Gary Daly (vocalist/ keyboardist) and Eddie Lundon (guitarist).

They came to the public's attention initially via the John Peel Show during the early 80s with songs like 'African and White' and 'Scream Down At Me'.

Key hits include 'Christian', 'Black Man Ray' and 'Wishful Thinking.

Their sound began as light electronic pop which evolved into AOR pop towards their end of their initial incarnation.
