James Newman is a British, Brit award-winning singer-songwriter from London - John Newman's brother. He won the 2014 "Best British Single" Brit award for co-writing Rudimental's hit, "Waiting All Night".

He was due to represent the UK in 2020's cancelled Eurovision, going on to represent them in the 2021 edition with the song, "Embers".

He released his debut EP, "The Things We Do" in 2020.
