The Blasters are an American rock and roll band from California, formed in 1978 by brothers Phil Alvin (vocals and guitar) and former member Dave Alvin (guitar).

They released their debut album, "American Music" in 1980, followed by: "The Blasters" (1981), "Non-Fiction" (1983), "Hard Line" (1985), "4-11-44" (2005) and 2012's: "Fun On Saturday Night".
