Deck's debut solo album, 1999's 'Uncontrolled Substance', was originally slated for issue in 1997 but was severely delayed after flood damage ruined a significant amount of the recorded material.

The album made the US Top 20 with Deck going on to release more solo LPs alongside a production career boasting work with Ghostface Killah and Method Man.
