Wale is a multi award-winning American rapper from Washington, D.C., real name Wale Victor Folarin.
Producer Mark Ronson discovered Wale in 2006 after the rapper's song 'Dig Dug (Shake It)' gained him notoriety in the D.C. area.
He released his debut album, "Attention Deficit" in 2009, featuring the singles "Chillin", "Pretty Girls", and "World Tour". That was followed by: "Ambition" (2011), "The Gifted" (2013), "The Album About Nothing" (2015), "Shine" (2017), "Wow... That's Crazy" (2019), "Folarin II" (2021), plus 2025's: "Everything Is a Lot".
