Raabe is a German singer and founder of the Palast Orchester, known for his old-style (20s and 30s) covers of modern pop songs as well as songs form the era and original material.

With the Palast Orchester, Raabe's debut release was the 1987 LP 'Die Männer sind schon die Liebe wert'.

Famous covers have included tracks by Britney Spears, Tom Jones and Salt'n'Pepa.
