Blues guitarist and singer from Ohio who first came to prominence in the late 1990s after a series of acclaimed festival appearances.

In 2001 he formed the trio The Patrick Sweany Band with drummer Clint Alguire, and featuring a revolving cast of baritone guitarists.

Sweany's debut full-length release was 1999's 'I Wanna Tell You'.
