Brenda Cochrane

Scottish-born easy-listening vocalist who came to prominence by winning the 70s/80s TV talent-show 'Opportunity Knocks' in 1989.

Her major-label debut 'The Voice' was released in 1990 - other collections of familiar ballads and torch-songs have since followed.

She co-wrote a biographical one-woman show 'Just For Joe' in 2008, dedicated to her late father.
