[1959 - 2016] Kashif was an American multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and record producer AKA Michael Jones.

Originally the keyboard player in funk band B.T. Express, Kashif went on to become a solo star and record producer, producing records for the likes of George Benson, Evelyn "Champagne" King, Kenny G and Whitney Houston.
