[1980 - 2022] Darius Campbell Danesh was a Scottish-Iranian singer and songwriter, previously known as Darius Danesh (or just plain Darius) who came to fame by appearing on Pop Idol, attempting a cover of Britney Spears "Baby One More Time", coming third on the show and appearing in West End productions of Chicago and Guys And Dolls.

He chalked up a number one with the debut single "Colourblind" in 2000.
