Lyrics Born is Japanese-American rapper, singer, and producer, Tsutomu "Tom" Shimura from California, one half of the duo, Latyrx with Lateef the Truthspeaker.

He released his debut album, "Later That Day..." in 2003, followed by: "Everywhere at Once" (2008), "As U Were" (2010), "Real People" (2015), "Quite a Life" (2018), "Vision Board" (2022), plus 2022's: "Mobile Homies Season 1".
