Autism Rocks - A Tribute to Prince to feature Cee-Lo Green, Mark Ronson and more

Posted: 7 years ago
Cee-Lo Green, Mark Ronson, Morris Day and the Time and more to play two special gigs at the Hammersmith Apollo in June 2016.

In June this year, the Eventim Apollo will celebrate the life of the much-loved and sorely-missed, Prince, with not one, but two gigs.

The nights are backed by the UK charity, Autism Rocks (www.autism.rocks), who were responsible for bringing Prince over in both 2014 and 2015. Playing on the night are Cee-Lo Green, the Gnarls Barkley star and "Forget You" singer who was once mentored by Prince.

Joining Cee-Lo on each night will be multi award-winning musician and producer, Mark Ronson, who in accepting the Grammy for the song "Uptown Funk" thanked Prince for his music. Mark will be playing a DJ set on the nights.

Finally, long-term friend, Morris Day brings his band, Morris Day and the Time over to the UK for the first time in ages

Other acts performing on the night include DJ BFG and DJ Fever. Tickets on sale now, costing £35 per night.

All proceeds from Autism Rocks' UK events will go to the Autism Research Trust which raises funds to support the Autism Research Centre at Cambridge University.
