Single Review

Bizarre, very bizarre. No, different, maybe very different. Or maybe just out right brilliant. I love this, I truly think this is outstanding. I reckon this woman is mad as a hatter (in the nicest sense of the phrase!!) she's a cross between Yoko Ono and Bjork. Cool as!!

Hailing from Southampton, Anja is half German, half American. Fully on the money! She writes, sings in a crazy lullaby enchanting haze/trance and playsthe accordion! Wow! Its weird, yet Ive got to tell you it has something about it. Top marks for originality and innovation. Its not going to be everyones cup of tea but Im deffo back for a top up.

This is her third track from her September debut album release, and is described by her promoters as her most playful release to date, with its up tempo arrangements, and what Anja calls a bonkers instrumental intro. Heck shes not kidding. The songs about going slightly mad in the summer heat for goodness sake pass me a cider!

Shes playing a few very leftfield and random venues in the next few months which could well test my geography and navigational skills, but Im on the case.

Love It!
