After 'You And Me Against The Universe' the Sheffield four piece The Little Million had set themselves a level of quality that they may have found hard to live up to. No such worries, as 'Bring Out The Blues' is another good quality release, soon to be followed up by their eagerly anticipated debut album.
They may not be the most naturally talented band around but they do bring a certain originality to their punk. The music sounds similar in structure to their American peers but they inject it with a style that is very British, almost reminiscent of The Kinks in personality.
From start to finish it has a solid structure, well organised choruses that are very catchy and a few flourishes from the guitar, all of which makes it clearly pass the test. On the cusp of their debut album being released this is yet another good statement of intent.
