Single Review

Florida punk group Against Me have come back with another set of fantastically addictive and likeable songs, spearheaded by this new single.

Sticking to a very standard double verse chorus and bridge seems to be a winning theme for this top group of guys. Right from the start the song hooks you in with its catchy drumbeat and vocals. It all builds up throughout the verse when the guitars start to take centre place then the chorus hits and if you weren't sold by then, you are now. It is easily one of the best choruses of the year, so easy to hum along to and impossible to get out of your head, not that you want to. The whole song is drenched in an enthusiastic energy that just makes you forget about everything.

You can be sure with legendary producer Butch Vig involved again the new album White Crosses should be a winner, as is this fantastic single. A real feel good hit for the summertime. Let's just hope the weather is as good as this.
