Single Review

The Bang Bang Clubs debut single Chemistry is a fun, if not overly progressive few minutes of indie pop from a cocksure group. Musically it is well put together but has nothing overly special, sounding quite like something the Scissor Sisters would knock off for a b-side. The vocals are brash and confident, oozing a cocky charm that could well make John Pritchard the focal point of the band's ability to sell records. If he make his vocal personality infectious within the band then they can make that next step to success.

As it stands they have covered up any immediate faults with a lush production and it just about holds together for a decent listening experience. With much promise beneath the surface The Bang Bang Club could well take the nation by storm over the coming months, theres definitely a gap in the Arty-Pop market and these guys could be the ones to fill it.
