The Hours are bouncing back onto the scene with an energetic burster of a single, Big Black Hole, marking their comeback like a territorial dog weeing on a tree.

Its actually a song about alcoholism, states lead singer Anthony Genn, referring to the tracks reference content and Ants in-denial friend. The singles release comes after their 2007 critically-acclaimed debut album Narcissus Road, which was described as magic, and will be followed by a new album that hopes to repeat its success.

Due for release on April 20th, See The Light apparently the albums title is a message of hope in dark times was created with the help of Damian Hirst and Cenzo Townshend (Kaiser Chiefs, U2), and is a blasting album peppered with inspired indie-pop melodies.

The Hours are about to embark on a tour to support the release of their new album. Having briefly played some gigs last year supporting acts such as Oasis and Kasabian, as well as their own smaller headline gigs, the 7-piece are set to return to the spotlight and spread their musical word.

Big Black Hole is released on 30th March. Play it loud.
