Macbeth

Along with Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth is one of Shakespeare's best known plays.

Loosely based on the story of King Macbeth of Scotland, it is believed to have been first performed at the Globe Theatre in 1611.

Superstitiously (and, let's be honest, slightly ludicrously) referred to as 'the Scottish play' by Thespians.
