"Neil Gaiman is one of the most celebrated writers of our time and the bestselling author of novels for children and adults, including "American Gods", "The Ocean At The End of the Lane", "The Graveyard Book" (the only title to win both the Newbery and Carnegie Medals) and "The Truth is a Cave in the Black Mountains". He is also the winner of other numerous literary honours, including the Hugo, Bram Stoker, and World Fantasy Award.

His DC Comic series, Sandman, was described by the LA Times as 'the greatest epic in the history of comic books'. His work has been adapted for film, television, and radio, including Stardust directed by Matthew Vaughan and the animated feature Coraline."
