Kronos Quartet
San Francisco-based string quartet founded by violinist David Harrington in 1973 in Seattle. Their style is a fusion of classical and contemporary.
The quartet's debut studio album was 1982's 'In Formation', the first of around 40 studio projects the foursome have been involved with.
