Dennis Bovell

Jamaican DJ, producer and musician.

He was an original member of UK reggae band Matumbi and was also known as 'Blackbeard' for early recordings.

He is also the frontman for The Dennis Bovell Dub Band and has worked on many recordings by Linton Kwesi Johnson and curated several shows dedicated to King Tubby.

Solo Bovell works include "I Wah Dub", "Audio Active" and "Mek It Run".
