composers and multi-instrumentalist duo Chrissy Mostyn and Richard Pilkington. The band blend musical styles in a non-conformist way seamlessly sidestepping boundaries to create their unique, highly individual, emotion-drenched music.

Often mistaken for an 8-piece band on first listen, The Blackheart Orchestra can be found on stage with a multitude of instruments as they continuously change from electric and acoustic guitars, bowed guitar, piano, bass and electronic percussion to vintage synthesisers, omnichord, melodica and flugelhorn. The duo have seen their 3 previous albums, extensive touring across the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand and over 1000 live shows amass a large and loyal following resulting in the pledge campaign for their new album surpassing its target within days."
