American punk-jazz and 'no-wave' band formed in 1978 with members that have included Jody Harris, Don Christensen, Pat Place, Adele Bertei, the late George Scott and Eric Sanko. Previously known as James Chance and the Whites.
Releases include tracks on the "No New York" compilation and "Buy".
