UK soul and jazz-pop outfit fronted by female singer Carmel McCourt, who formed the band with bassist Jim Parris when the two were students in Manchester during the '80s.
The band's self-titled first album was released in 1982, with the band's debut single, 'Storm', topping the UK indie charts.
The album 'The Falling', made the band popular in France where 'Sally', the first single from the second album, sold more than half a million copies.
Other albums include "The Drum Is Everything" (feat the UK hit-single "Bad Day") and "Set Me Free".
