Johnny Dowd is an American alt-country musician and singer from New York whose music is often much darker than the genre-labelling would suggest.
In 2003 he was personally asked to play at ATP by Matt Groening.
Dowd released his debut studio album, 'Wrong Side of Memphis', in 1997.
