Desperate Journalist are an English alt-rock outfit formed in North London in 2012. Band members include Jo Bevan - vocals, Simon Drowner - bass guitar, Rob Hardy - guitar and Caroline Helbert - drums.

They released their debut eponymous album in 2014, followed by: "Grow Up album" (2017), "In Search of the Miraculous" (2019), plus 2021's: "Maximum Sorrow!".
