Mahalia

Mahalia is Leicester-based acoustic pop singer and performer, Mahalia Burkmar.

Releases include "Let The World See The Light" and "Hometown Glory". She guested on the 2015 Rudimental single, "We the Generation".

She released her debut album, "Diary of Me" in 2016, plus the EPs: "Head Space" (2012), "Never Change" (2015), plus 2018's: "Seasons". Follow-up album, "Love and Compromise" was released in 2019, followed by 2023's: "IRL (In Real Life)".

She was shortlisted in the BBC's Sound of 2019 poll and won a 2022 MOBO in the "Best R&B/Soul Act" category.
