Swedish progressive rock band featuring Daniel Gildenlöw, who is the lyricist, chief composer, guitarist, and lead vocalist.
Specialising in concept albums, their first being 1997's 'Entropia', Pain of Salvation's records have themes including sexuality, war, environmental issues (such as nuclear power) and the nature of God, humankind, and existence.
