Andy Kershaw

British broadcaster and DJ, whose shows feature a mix of country, blues, reggae, folk music and who's known for his interest in world music.

Kershaw began working for Radio 1 in 1985 where his enthusiasm for a broad spectrum of music earned him early comparisons with John Peel.

Andy Kershaw has gone on to work for BBC channels Radio 3 and Radio 4.
