Wolves In The Throne Room are an American black metal band based in Olympia, Washington.

"The music of The Wolves In The Throne Room is rooted in the traditions of Black Metal, but they subvert the common aesthetic and ideology in order to remain true to their own personal manifestations. Their strong convictions appropriately compliment the confident decisive execution of their sound."

They released their debut album, "Diadem of 12 Stars" in 2006, followed by: "Two Hunters" (2007), "Black Cascade" (2009), "Celestial Lineage" (2011), "Celestite" (2014), "Thrice Woven" (2017), plus 2021's: "Primordial Arcana".
