Influential African-American contemporary jazz saxophone player, composer and band leader.

Coleman has released more than 20 albums and a range of other studio and live recordings, including "Motherland Pulse", "Black Science", "Resistance Is Futile", "Harvesting Semblances and Affinities", "Synovial Joints (2015 - as Steve Coleman and the Council of Balance) and 2017's: "Steve Coleman's Natal Eclipse: Morphogenesis".
