Harold Budd

[1936 - 2020] Harold Budd was an American avant-garde/ambient composer, poet and musician, active since the '60s.

His enormous body of work includes acclaimed collaborations with Brian Eno during the '70s/'80s ("The Plateaux Of Mirror", "The Pearl"), an album with Cocteau Twins on 4AD and several solo albums including "Lovely Thunder", "White Arcades", "Perhaps" and the soundtrack to the HBO series I Know This Much Is True.

In more recent years, he worked with Andy Partridge, Bill Nelson, David Sylvian and John Foxx.
