Michael Portillo
Former Conservative MP and party leadership candidate. Famously (and surprisingly) lost his Enfield Southgate seat in 1997 before returning to the House of Commons as MP for Kensington and Chelsea two years later.
Portillio left politics in 2005 to concentrate on a career in journalism and broadcsting.
