G3 is a guitar trio tour established by Steve Vai and Joe Satriani, which has featured various guitarists: Yngwie Malmsteen, John Petrucci, Robert Fripp, Eric Johnson, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Paul Gilbert, Uli Jon Roth, Michael Schenker, Adrian Legg as well as special guests: Steve Lukather, Steve Morse, Chris Duarte, Andy Timmons, Neal Schon, Gary Hoey, Brian May, Billy Gibbons, George Lynch and drummer Mike Portnoy.

2018 sees the trio: Joe Satriani, John Petrucci and Uli Jon Roth tour the UK.
