Mykal Rose
Jamaica-born singer aka Michael 'Mykal' Rose who fronted Black Uhuru during the late 70s to mid 80s, singing on their key albums 'Chill Out', 'Red', 'Vital Selection' and 'Anthem'.
He recorded several solo singles and albums after BU including a brace with Sly and Robbie during the 90s.
Rose re-joined Black Uhuru in 2004, yet continues to be prolific as a solo artist. In 2017 he presented the occasional Black Uhuru-inspired show.
