Classic 1982 film starring Richard Gere and Debra Winger about a young recruit (Gere) at Navy Flight School fighting to pass the course, distracted the whole time by a local girl (Winger)
The film won two Oscars, including Best Original Song for the No 1 Billboard hit 'Up Where We Belong', performed by Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes.
