Unsane are an American noise-metal and alt-rock band formed in 1988, from New York.

Much of their output has appeared on Matador, Glitterhouse and Sub-Pop and includes the debut album, "Unsane", released in 1991, followed by: "Total Destruction" (1993), "Scattered, Smothered & Covered" (1995), "Occupational Hazard" (1998), "Blood Run" (2005), "Visqueen" (2007), "Wreck" (2012), plus 2017's: "Sterilize".
