Florida-based death metal trio formed in 1984, featuring founder member Trey Azagthoth - Guitars, plus David Vincent - Vocals/ Bass, Destructhor (Thor Anders Myhren) - guitar and Tim Yeung - Drums. One of the first signings to the Earache label, their output has included their 1989 debut "Altars of Madness", "Domination" and "Illud Divinum Insanus" amongst many more.

Morbid Angel have been one of the best-selling death metal bands of all time.
