Middlesbrough-born distinctive rock and pop singer, songwriter and guitarist who has been active since the late '70s.
His hit songs include "Road To Hell", "Josephine", "Auberge", "Fool If You Think It's Over", "Stainsby Girls", "On The Beach" and "Driving Home For Christmas".
His most successful albums include "Dancing With Strangers", "Road To Hell" and "Auberge".
In 2016, Chris suffered a stroke which left him with reduced movement initially, but he fought back, releasing 24th studio album, "Road Songs for Lovers" in 2017.
