British columnist, author and comedian, famous for his straight-talking and his socialist views (and for being funny).

He has made numerous television and radio appearances and is perhaps best know for his programmes, presenting: The Mark Steel Lectures, The Mark Steel Revolution, The Mark Steel Solution and Mark Steel's in Town.
