Rick Wakeman

London-born rock musician, composer and presenter who is most notable for joining prog-rock legends Yes in the '70s and appearing on the TV series Grumpy Old Men and The One Show.

His key solo works include "Six Wives Of Henry VIII", "Journey To The Centre Of The Earth" and "Myths and Legends of King Arthur". During the 80s his work veered towards new-age with albums such as the piano-led "Country Airs" and "Sea Airs".

In 1988, Wakeman partially reformed Yes and recorded the self-titled "Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman, Howe" album.
