George Clinton

Influential American funk and p-funk singer, musician and writer whose key work was with '70s bands, Parliament and Funkadelic.

His solo work began in the '80s with the familiar tracks "Atomic Dog", "Do Fries Go With That Shake", "Loopzilla" and "Last Dance".

He released his debut album, "Computer Games" in 1982, followed by: "You Shouldn't-Nuf Bit Fish" (1983), "Some of My Best Jokes Are Friends" (1985), "R&B Skeletons in the Closet" (1986), "The Cinderella Theory" (1989), "Dope Dogs" (1993), "Hey Man, Smell My Finger" (1993), "T.A.P.O.A.F.O.M." (1996), "How Late Do U Have 2BB4UR Absent?" (2005), plus 2008's: "George Clinton and His Gangsters of Love".

He collaborated with Red Hot Chili Peppers on "Freaky Styley" and Primal Scream on "Give Out But Don't Give Up" as well as with Prince, Xavier, Thomas Dolby, Big Boi and Flying Lotus, among others.
