A. R. Rahman

Multi award-winning Indian film composer, record producer, singer and musician.

As of 2010, he has won two Grammys, a BAFTA, a Golden Globe and two Oscars.

His expansive output has scored mainly Tamil and Hindu films but he has briefly worked with Talvin Singh for a recording of one of his most famous pieces, "Bombay (Mumbai) Theme" and the Finnish folk-band Varttina for a theatrical reading of 'Lord Of The Rings'.

He has also scored the successful film "Slumdog Millionaire". Other key soundtracks include "Roja" and "Lagaan".
