Merzbow
Alter-ego of Japanese avant-garde, noise and cut-n-splice electronica musician, Masami Akita. He has been active since 1979 and his name is often tagged as メルツバウ on his album sleeves.
His most notorious (and some say, complete) recording is the 50-CD box set, "Merzbox". His extensive catalogue extends beyond 300 releases.
