Metal-rock band from California, featuring M. Shadows - lead vocals, Zacky Vengeance - rhythm guitar, Johnny Christ - bass, Synyster Gates - lead guitar and Arin Ilejay - drums.

Co-founding drummer 'The Rev' passed away in 2009 and Dream Theater's Mike Portnoy stood-in up until December 2010.

Their debut album "Sounding The Seventh Trumpet" appeared in 2001, although their initial big breakthrough came with the 2007 self-titled album. Other releases include the album "Nightmare" (2010) and "Hail to the King" (2013).
