Obituary

Death-metal band formed in Florida in 1984. The band came to prominence with the debut album, 'Slowly We Rot' in 1987.

Members of the band include John Tardy - vocals, Donald Tardy - drums, Trevor Peres - rhythm guitar, Frank Watkins - bass guitar and Ralph Santolla - lead guitar.

Obituary are considered to be one of the pioneers of Florida Death Metal (from the 80s) along with Deicide, Morbid Angel and Death.

There other key albums include "The End Complete" and "Darkest Day".
