mura masa is Alex Crossan - an award-winning electronic musician, producer and songwriter from Guernsey.

He released his debut EP, "Someday Somewhere" in 2015, plus the single, "Love For That" (featuring Shura - also 2015), with his debut eponymous album following in 2017. Follow-up album, "Raw Youth Collage" was released in 2020, plus 2022's: "Demon Time".

He finished in joint fifth place in the BBC's Sound of 2016 poll.
