The Triffids
Australian rock band formed in 1978, who disbanded in 1989.
Although relatively unsuccessful in their homeland, the UK praised albums such as Born Sandy Devotional, Calenture and The Black Swan.
Original members included David McComb who passed away in 1999.
In 2016, the band regrouped to play live once more with Jill Birt - keyboards, vocals, Allan MacDonald - drums, percussion, vocals, Graham Lee - guitar, pedal steel, lap-steel, vocals, Martyn Casey - bass, Robert McComb - violins, guitar, keyboards, percussion, vocals and guests.
