Steve Vai is an award-winning American rock guitarist, songwriter and producer, previously a member of Frank Zappa's touring band and occasional collaborator with other acts including Whitesnake, Dave Lee Roth and PiL.

He released his debut album, "Flex-Able" in 1984, followed by: "Passion and Warfare" (1990), "Sex & Religion" (1993), "Fire Garden" (1996), "Flex-Able Leftovers" (1998), "The Ultra Zone" (1999), "Real Illusions: Reflections" (2005), "The Story of Light" (2012), "Modern Primitive" (2016), plus 2022's: "Inviolate".

That's in addition to numerous G3 albums with Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen and others.
